The Princess's New Look

Sorry for the bad title, but someone on here actually gave Marcy the nickname "Princess of Pooltoys," and I thought it fit a big girl like her (let's just hope it doesn't go to her head). Anyway, I do love the design Marcy currently has (thanks again Ahiru Ukiwa!), but I thought maybe Marcy could use a little touch-up to her current look.

I was thinking of giving her some design features from another massive inflatable dragon. You may have heard of her; she was given the title, "Duchess."

Yeah, Marcy and Ayru.

Well, if you haven't seen what Ayru looks like, then you need to. Seriously, that girl looks good! And when I first saw her, I was thinking about Marcy, and figured maybe Marcy could use a makeover.

Aside from the body shape (which I think will make Marcy look even cuter), Ayru also has her rear paws facing in, like she's resting in her treasure-filled cave or something. It may also help with stability for Marcy, especially when being used on the water.

The final big detail change is the tail. Ayru has her tail as part of her body; so does the Puffypaws Sea Dragon. I figured, why not let Marcy have something like that?

Aside from those big details, I will also make a few smaller details: the valves. I plan on adding a couple more valves on Marcy's body, to hopefully make both inflating and deflating Marcy a little quicker (that is if you have multiple pumps for all three valves).

One valve will be located under her belly, and then another to the left of her tail (I may add the words "Pop Me!" around the valve as a bit of a playful nod, especially since Marcy may tend to pop other pooltoys' valves open for fun!).

Once I get the final plans done, I will send them in to either Puffypaws or Jet Creations, depending on how much it will cost me to make her.

And for those of you who love the original design and would like to have Marcy for your next big pool party (or whatever you had in mind), don't worry. You can still order the original version on Hongyi.

(As a side note, I'm not exactly a fan of Hongyi for some reasons, even if they make some good toys. One such reason is placing the main body valve somewhere lewd, regardless of where it was supposed to be on the designs).

I will try to get the first sketches done soon. One thing is for certain, I won't change anything on Marcy's cute face or her head's shape. Just what is listed ^w^
